Invitation Design

Both of these projects involved designing within certain restrictions/guidelines. The first project shown is wedding invitations I created for a winter wedding. This involved fitting the text needed within the design and following the colour scheme of the wedding itself.

 

For the second project shown I was given certain typefaces, grids, and colours to follow in order to design the invitations. I was also tasked with finding imagery that not only looked visually pleasing with the text but added to the meaning behind what was written. The invitations were all designed to be four inches by six inches and involved knowledge on how text can represent a grid no matter the size.
